The El Dorado Hills Town Center is an approved planned commercial development consisting of two component parts: Town Center East – major retail center of highway commercial, neighborhood services, community and regional retail uses surrounding a downtown core and Town Center West – a light manufacturing, research development, and office center catering to the high tech digital information systems industry. The Town Center will encompass nearly 2.5 million square feet of commercial buildings fashioned in a European style typified by the Tuscan Old World Village. The Town Center is being developed to serve the El Dorado Hills community and to provide an employment base regional retail services to western El Dorado County.
